Abstract

This paper presents an exhaustive study on the design of soy wax-based scented candles. Every aspect of the process is addressed, from the selection of materials to the elaboration of the final product. The methodology that will guide this project will be Design Thinking, given its user-centered approach and the multidisciplinary collaboration of the methodology allows not only to quickly identify customer needs, but also to adapt and improve the product as feedback is received, thus ensuring a high degree of consumer satisfaction. In addition, the stages of the production process are described, including the extraction and treatment of soy wax, as well as the development of the design concept. Throughout the stages, technical drawings and sketches are developed to guide the transformation of the raw material into the final product. This integrated approach seeks to contribute to the market for aromatic products, highlighting the benefits of soy wax as an environmentally friendly alternative. With its implementation, it is expected not only to capture the attention of environmentally conscious consumers, but also to inspire others to explore sustainable options in the design and production of aromatic products.
