Abstract
This article advances a reflection on architecture training at the regional level in the Colombian context; The purpose of which is to present aspects of reflection that contribute to training in this area of knowledge at the university level of the Santo Tomás University, Tunja headquarters. To achieve this, it presents the context that motivates this reflection, under the experience as a teacher of the program and the dimensions in teaching- learning, extension, research and social projection, to finally present some conclusions about the reality of this
professional opportunity and vocation to the teaching.
