Abstract

The education is considered as one of the fundamental devices for the personal development, whenever through it is possible to access to several knowledges and develop required competencies to act in the society; therefore, it is valuable to study the teaching process that enhances the learning of several fields, of which English is one of the languages. On the other side, this as a foreign language becomes essential in different environments of development of the human being, especially in globalized contexts in which the knowledge and the information circulate massively. This reflection article has as purpose to emphasize in the teaching work in its quality of leading factor in the student´s training, particularly in the English teaching in the globalized context. In the same way, it is mentioned the transcendence of the performance of the teacher, because it can be recognized her/ his responsibility in the organization, putting into practice, evaluation and reconstruction of diverse strategies that stimulate the educational process. Finally, it is concluded that the reflection and the investigation by the teacher are necessary elements of the knowledge of the educational reality and its questioning, as well as the design of didactic strategies for the teaching, in especial in the English teaching.
