La educación STEM. Un enfoque alternativo. Stem Education. An alternative approach

Abstract
This study was conducted to delve into the educational approach called STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), which seeks to change the skills, abilities and skills of future professionals from the classroom through strategies such as: testing, design, problem solving, modeling and simulation. It seeks the active collaboration of individuals in society; it also shares the approach of multiple intelligences, achieving the construction of projects based on 21st century problems (PBA) such as the environment, to improve their quality of life, that of their families and members of society. The textual content is structured from the following categories: objective of STEM Education, models and levels of STEM Education, STEM Education in Colombia. It is a qualitative exercise by means of a documentary analysis, considering inclusion and exclusion criteria through categorical and heuristic matrices for the respective analysis of the information.
