Abstract

During the development of this paper, some activities, challenges, achievements, advances, and setbacks in the promotion of the personal diary are briefly discussed as a tool to promote writing and self-knowledge so fundamental nowadays to promote and improve writing in secondary and high school.

As part of the program development method focused on the above, the interview is used, the results of which often offer unexpected data and great significant value within the theories of self and intimacy. Trust and respectful dialogue often offer doors of access to the students’ self, which in turn reinforces the affective and expressive part that they usually lack in certain specific contexts.
