Abstract

Principia Iuris Vol. 21, No. 44 (January–June 2024), published by the Faculty of Law at Universidad Santo Tomás – Tunja Campus, offers a critical and up-to-date perspective on contemporary legal challenges. The articles address topics such as artificial intelligence in law, the effectiveness of constitutional review in Colombia, social security for digital platform workers, normative limits, the seizure of possession rights, and the sexual and reproductive rights of persons with disabilities in Colombia and Argentina. The issue opens with the presentation of the book The Effectiveness of Rules for the Prevention, Detection, and Sanctioning of Money Laundering and concludes with a critical reflection on the use of the fiscal impact incident, promoting an ethical, fair, and adaptive understanding of the law in response to social, technological, and economic changes.
