LABOR SITUATION OF VENEZUELAN MIGRANTS IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF SAN GIL AND SOCORRO IN THE DEPARTMENT OF SANTANDER DURING THE YEAR 2022: ANALYSIS BASED ON LEVELS OF EMPLOYABILITY AND LABOR COVERAGE

Abstract
The objective of this article is to analyze the employment situation of Venezuelan migrants within the municipalities of Socorro and San Gil in the department of Santander for the year 2022. This will allow the identification of multiple situations of vulnerability, as well as the characterization in which the population Venezuelan migrant is within said territorial entities. This process was carried out using a socio-legal methodology, with a descriptive and qualitative approach, which demonstrated the development of the problem question: What is the employment situation of Venezuelan migrants in the municipalities of San Gil and Socorro during the year 2022? Regarding their guarantees of a labor nature as a population with special protection against access to labor justice? which gave as main answers and results that i) the Venezuelan population enjoys equal rights and guarantees than the Colombian, ii) that there is a strong framework of labor justice in Colombia for this population and iii) that despite the fact that the migrant population in the municipalities, the employment situation of the population is not entirely negative.
