Abstract

This article approaches the armed conflict from a theoretical perspective that seeks to contextualize and describe the scenario in which this phenomenon unfolds in the municipality of Aquitania, Boyacá, Colombia. It starts by recognizing the territorial configuration as a space disputed by various armed groups, illustrating the presence and complexity of the armed conflict in said municipality. This socio-political phenomenon has affected territories differentially, leaving none immune to its effects. Consequently, it also gathers and analyzes data on the execution of various practices that violate the human rights of communities, emphasizing the need to analyze and understand the dynamics of the armed conflict and its impact on the population of Aquitania.
