Abstract

This article seeks to analyze the importance of the right to menstrual hygiene
management in menstruating people legislation, in the scenario of appraisal
of different edges such as the appreciation and ascertain of the number of
menstrual hygiene products used on menstruation, economic factors that
inhibit or enable the access to these products, and alternatives of lengthy
duration and environmentally friendly menstrual hygiene products. The
expectation of this investigation is the development of solid foundations for the legislation of this right through public policies in pursuit of protection of
menstruating people who are in a gender identity diversity, this, considering
the differentiated approach in these historically marginalized populations which
concedes them the ownership of subject of special constitutional protection.
